Remeber the spectacular Honda Concept V4 recently presented in Intermot? Well, Honda has announced, in view of the great reception of this concept around the world, and the renovated and creative image this model has created for Honda, which is being critiziced ultimately in this respect, that the Concept V4 will be the base for a production bike to arrive at the dealers in 2010.
2010 is very close, but we think Honda can make it. It has the technica, but most important, the enthusiasm to start the new decade with a revolution in bikes.

Another of the concept bikes presented at EICMA 2009, in Milan, Italy, the past week, was this Husqvarna SMQ, the first road bike from Husqvarna in it's history, probably pointing in a new direction for the manufacturer.
A radical design that causes a love or hate reaction, nonetheless, the 450cc single mono engine from the BMW G450X, combined with minimal weight, suggestes this scrambler/trail/supermoto bike would be fun. Notice the radiator, goes straight next to the headlight!
Suzuki caught the motorcycle public by surprise and presented a new Bandit for 2009. Both versions, naked and faired, includes rear tail redesign, updated fairing and light, and new instrument panel.
Very practical bikes, which sell particularly well in Europe, in a very competitive segment, no doubt that´s why Suzuki is updating the Bandits, to counter Yamaha´s new Diversion.
BMW gave the motorcycle world a very nice surprise in EICMA 2009, the "Lorider" Concept Bike. The design department of BMW surely has been inspired by some Amercian Choppers, and created their own vision, The Lorider.
Love it or hate it style, but we really do like it, just the basics, huge motor, and a very personal statement. Perhaps too radical for production, or not?
KTM presented the new 990 Supermoto T, which could basically be a "Tourism" version of the classic 990 SM, with much bigger fairings, travel bags, all this with losing the very active and fun spirit of the 990 SM.
Ideal for travelling long distances, with enough power, 115 HP, with Brembo radial brakes and 17 wheels. No doubt it´s a much more practical proposition for the travelling or commuter biker, good looks, performance, and up right ergonomics, a really nice package the new KTM 990 Supermoto T.

The electric bike has no carburetors, no clutch, it's electric engine has a very small footprint, and currently can operate up to 40 minutes under race conditions, with it's lithium-ion batteries.
